Call for Papers
Journal of Social Inclusion Studies is a peer reviewed academic journal of the Indian Institute of Dalit Studies. The journal aims to focus of the following issues-
- To provide a forum for informed, evidence based debate and discussion on the issues related to social exclusion and discrimination as experienced by persons from the excluded groups and policies to promote social inclusion and equal rights and entitlement.
- To research, document and disseminate the nature, forms and mechanism of social exclusion and discrimination in social, economic, political and cultural spheres based on the group identity such as caste, ethnicity, religion, gender, colour, disability and regional identity.
- To develop an understanding of the consequences of social exclusion and discrimination on poverty, education, health, political participation and well-being of the marginalised groups.
- To provide knowledge support and policy input to policy makers to formulate socially inclusive policies.
- To engage academicians, national and international funding agencies and civil society organisations on the issues of social exclusion, discrimination and inclusive development.
Journal of Social Inclusion Studies provides multi-disciplinary approach to the academic contribution published in the journal.
This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
