The chapters on asylum seekers and refugees, and ethnic minority groups were excellent. This text is a good general text on vulnerable social groups within society.
A good book to give the students some insight into different vulnerable groups and the concept of being 'vulnerable'. Will be really helpful for several modules.
This text offers guidance on a range of service users who can be viewed as vulnerable. It could offer further information with case law, or practice examples for social work students so that it could be more applicable to the third level of study, ie at BA level. Will use this with year one students as a supplementary text.

Essential reading for students studying on Foundation Degree or Access to Higher Education
Particularly when studying inequalities.
This book gives students a basic introduction the the different clients they may work with in the social care setting. The activities were particularly useful in preparing students for work placement.
This book is good but not exactly what we need in this course.
