Nordic Journal of Nursing Research welcomes scholarly papers on all aspects of nursing and midwifery. NJNR encourages submissions of systematic reviews and original research from across the methodological spectrum. We aim to publish manuscripts that further scholarly inquiry, challenge assumptions and promote critical analyses in order to advance the broad and multidimensional field of nursing and midwifery. We particularly welcome submissions from the Nordic countries, but please note that all submissions, regardless of country of origin, consistent with NJNR aims and scope are welcomed.
All submissions must be written to a high standard of English, reflect an international relevance, and have a clear focus on aspects of nursing or midwifery. Submissions of primary research and systematic reviews need to adhere to the relevant EQUATOR research reporting checklists. At submission the checklist should be supplied as an additional file. Submissions not adhering to the submission guidelines will be returned to the authors.
