Speaking about the JCR, Bob Howard, Senior Vice President of Journals Editorial, SAGE Publishing remarked:

Although just one measure to assess journal quality, it is pleasing to see year on year increasing JCR Impact Factors across our portfolio. This is a strong reflection of the commitment and skill of our editors, authors and the dedicated teams within our organisation who support them. Alongside these reports, we have long recognized the need to consider multiple measures of journal quality to ensure the creation of a balanced picture regarding research impact and are committed to working alongside the academic community to best navigate the complexities of these challenges.”
