SAGE Publishing to begin publishing the journal Feminist Review

With the recent focus on the #Metoo campaign, intersectional feminisms and the gender pay gap in the UK, feminism and its associated challenges has once again been firmly placed on the public agenda. These recent developments reflect the vitality and complexity of feminist scholarship and activism, which is constantly changing and providing challenging debates and ideas. Since 1979 Feminist Review has adopted a creative approach to the discipline, addressing the relationship between theory and practice, using this research to push the feminist agenda in new directions and prioritizing an intersectional feminist politics. Because of this, the journal has become an influential platform for debate.

From January 2019, the journal will be published by SAGE.

Along with academic articles the journal publishes experimental pieces, visual and textual media and political interventions, including interviews, short stories, poems and photographic essays. Beginning publication with SAGE in 2019, the journal will be a published three times a year, in March, July and October.
