Annals of Neurosciences
Annals of Neurosciences is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides an international platform for discussing recent advances in the neurosciences. As the official journal of the ‘Indian Academy of Neuro-sciences’, Annals of Neurosciences publishes wide-ranging original research results, reviews and opinions aimed at increasing our understanding of the neurosciences, molecule, Cognitive sciences, Psychiatric and psychological disorders, Substance abuse, special areas of child women & geriatric Mental Health and encouraging the development of better diagnostic tools and effective treatments for neurological and psychiatric disorders . The journal brings together information on computational and experimental studies, translational research, and clinical care. The Journal accepts papers such as research articles, reviews, commentaries, book reviews, molecular images, reports, student's perspectives on published reports in the form of journal clubs and views.
It also includes editorials on Policy which may include Intellectual property, Technology commercialization and interdisciplinary issues. The following classifications and topics related to it will be considered for publication in ANNALS OF NEUROSCIENCES: (1) Neurosciences (2) Cognitive and Organic disorders
We encourage authors to define the established principles and policies that defy the norms and to argue against accepted dogma. The Editor in Chief will make a final decision on the acceptance of the manuscript and would be under no obligation to seek further opinions. Our intent is that this publication becomes a gateway through which a wide array of information can be accessed in a single periodical. The goal is to provide peer-reviewed and rapid communications that will foster clearer understanding of the Neuro-sciences, generation of better diagnostic tools, encourage journalism among young scientists and development of effective cures for Neurological disorders. All experiments described in the Annals of Neurosciences that involve the use of animal or human subjects must have been approved by the appropriate institutional review committee and conform to accepted ethical standards.
This journal flipped to open access in 2019. Content from 2005-2015 is hosted here and from 2016-2018 is hosted here. All material published before 2019 is free access. Please see this page for information on reuse rights of archival material.
