This was added to the reading list as a support resource. It was adopted due to it's additional resources, such as the videos, case studies and points for reflection. This will hopefully encourage the students to think deeper around the topic and the links to the clinical setting.

The content in this book is presented in a clear and logical manner. The inclusion of a variety of coloured and relevant illustrations, and video links enhances the practicality of the book.
The brief overview of the anatomy and physiology recap is very useful and it facilitates the understanding and rational for the skill to be undertaken.
The case study and the activity pause and reflect are very useful tools that allow for reflection and application of knowledge gained. A valuable resource.

Very handy when teaching clinical skills. The quiz at the end of each skill to test knowledge very popular with students especial as its a way to recap on the skill.
