This is an invaluable resource to all social work students.I will be using it as a recommended text on our new MA Social Work programme.One area for future development is to explore policy divergence post devolution.
A lucid and accessible text which covers substantive issues relating to working with older people. The reading lists and critical thinking exercises are particularly useful. A more sustained discussion of sexuality and older people would have been welcomed.
Eaasy to read, up to date text, that thoroughly examines the links between current social work practices and histiorical social policies.
