I found this book to a very good source for students who are experiencing Sociology at a higher level. It provides them with knowledge and understanding of marxist thought and moves them away from the basics.

Excellent overview to the holistic view of karl Marx, excellent quality for students new to Marx and also to explore with strong criticality. A highly recommended text for any sociology student.
This book provides an excellent insight into the thoughts of Marx. However, in my opinion it is more useful for the seasoned Marxist. Some prior knowledge of Marxism is necessary to get to grips with the ideologies contained in the book.
